The Films
HRF · Dubai, UAE
Visual stories without borders.
The visual arm of Humanity Record. Music videos, travel films, documentaries, live sessions. Every frame carries the same philosophy: borderless, timeless, human.
Formats
Four ways to see the sound.
01
Music Videos
Visual companions to each album. Not illustrations of lyrics — cinematic experiences that stand on their own. 30 albums will eventually generate 30+ visual works.
02
HRF in [City]
Travel films from a borderless artist. Dubai, Tokyo, Paris, Istanbul, Algiers — each city through the lens of exile and belonging. Personal, slow, contemplative.
03
Behind the Chapters
Documentary footage from the making of 30 albums. The studio sessions, the vocal coach exercises, the breakdowns, the breakthroughs. The real process.
04
Live Sessions
Stripped-back performances recorded at Humanity Record Studios. One voice, one camera, one take. The most honest format. No hiding.
Productions
What's in the pipeline.
Heir of Exiles — Visual Album
26 tracks. Two CDs. A cinematic journey through Algeria, Armenia, and the Mediterranean. Shot across three countries.
HRF in Dubai
The city that became home. Desert highways, marina sunsets, the call to prayer at dawn. A visual letter from exile to gold.
Behind Heir of Exiles
The making of the first album. Studio sessions, vocal breakdowns, the moment the first take was recorded. Raw. Unscripted.
HRS Sessions — Vol. 1
Stripped-back performances from Humanity Record Studios. One voice, one camera, one take. No edits. No corrections.
Visual DNA
The filmmakers who shaped the eye.
Every HRF production draws from these visual languages. Not to copy — to metabolize.
Wim Wenders
Personal, intimate travel films. The artist as observer. The world as character.
Beyoncé — Lemonade
Visual album as a complete cinematic experience.
Terrence Malick
Natural light. Long silences. The weight of landscape.
Wong Kar-wai
Color, mood, longing. Nostalgia as a visual language.
Denis Villeneuve
Scale, patience, architecture. Desert as character.
A Letter from the Founder
I never dreamed of making films. I dreamed of making music.
But the more I wrote, the more I realized: some stories need to be seen. Some emotions need a face, a landscape, a silence that only a camera can hold.
The first film will be the visual album for Heir of Exiles. 26 tracks across Algeria, Armenia, and the Mediterranean. Not a music video — a film that happens to contain music. Or maybe music that happens to contain a film.
Then will come the travel films. HRF in Dubai was the obvious first — this city is where exile became empire. But Tokyo, Paris, Istanbul, Algiers — every city I've passed through has left images in me that need to come out.
The camera is just another instrument. Another way to sing.
